Important Ingredients to make aloe Vera ki sabji
Aloe vera - 2 -3 leaves chopped
Green Chili - 1
Cumin seeds - half a teaspoon
Asafoetida - a pinch
Turmeric powder - half a teaspoon
Coriander powder - a small spoon
Tomatoes - 1
Garam Masala - half a teaspoon
Mango powder - a small spoon
Oil - two tablespoons
Salt - as per taste
Water - as required
How to Make Vegetable:
Wash and clean the aloe vera first.
With the help of a knife, take out the fork part and cut it into small pieces.
To make the vegetable, first of all, put 2 -3 cups of water, a pinch of turmeric and salt in a pot on low flame and keep it for boiling for a while.
When the water comes to a boil, add pieces of aloe vera and boil it well for 8 to 10 minutes.
When the pieces of aloe vera boil properly, turn off the gas and filter the pieces of aloe vera into a plate.
Now wash it thoroughly with fresh water. This will reduce the bitterness of aloe vera.
Then heat oil in a pan on low heat.
When the oil gets hot, add cumin seeds, light asafoetida, finely chopped green chillies, chopped onions and fry it well.
When the onion is fried, add fine pieces of tomato in it. Add coriander powder, half a teaspoon turmeric powder and red chili powder and fry well.
When the masala is roasted, add aloe vera and mix it well and let it cook on low flame for one minute.
Then add salt and mango powder to it and mix it well and cook for 4-5 minutes and then turn off the heat.
Now aloe vera vegetable is ready. You can remove it in a vessel and serve it with roti.
